Effective 31 July 2026
What we collect
When you submit the contact or newsletter form we collect the details you provide: name, email address, organisation, phone number, area of interest, indicative budget and your message. We do not ask for and do not want sensitive personal data through these forms.
Our hosting infrastructure records standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp) for security and diagnostics. If analytics is enabled, aggregate usage data is collected via the provider named in our cookie policy.
Why we use it
Enquiry details are used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where a commercial relationship follows, to administer it. Newsletter addresses are used only to send the newsletter you subscribed to.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Processors we rely on
Website hosting and content delivery, transactional email delivery, and (where enabled) privacy-respecting analytics. Each processor is bound by contract to use the data only to provide the service to us.
A current list of processors, with their locations, is available on request and is supplied as standard in enterprise procurement.
Retention
Enquiry records are retained for 24 months from last contact unless a commercial relationship begins, in which case engagement records are retained for the period required by contract and applicable tax and company law.
Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Every issue contains a one-click unsubscribe link.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent for marketing communication at any time.
Send any such request to contact@burion.in. We will acknowledge within five working days and respond substantively within the statutory period.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Access to enquiry data is limited to staff who need it to respond. Our internal practice aligns to ISO/IEC 27001 controls, including least-privilege access, dependency scanning and periodic access review.
Contact
Questions about this policy, or about how your data is handled, should go to contact@burion.in, or to Burion Technologies, #172, Railway Road, Aduthurai, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur Dt, Tamil Nadu 612101, India.
